With national legislation such as No Child Left Behind, there has been a push to increase science and math scores in the public school system. Many school districts are dealing with a shortage of qualified science teachers. Becoming a Science Teacher

Many science teachers earn a bachelor's degree in a specific scientific discipline, such as biology or physics, or an education degree with a specialty in science.
