In the technology education field, you'll prepare students to use technology effectively in their work and private lives. You may also train others to be technology educators. Wherever you teach, you'll be preparing your students to use technology to solve problems in their lives and careers. Technology education relates to nearly any career: telecommunications, health, hospitality, automotive, marine, aviation, agricultural, industrial, construction, business and more.

 

Technology Education Training

Technology educators need at least a bachelor's degree to teach at the elementary, middle, or high school level and a master's or doctorate degree to teach at the college level. Career training requirements vary for teaching in trade and vocational schools. At the bachelor's degree level, you'll take basic math and science courses as well as courses in manufacturing, design, mechanics, electronics, construction, electrical systems, and teaching practices. Master's degree and doctorate coursework will cover more in-depth teaching practices and technology planning.
